Panic on the Streets of London
A friend in London e-mailed me on the city and government's response to Prez Bush's anticipated arrival:
I never seen anythink like it. I could not cross in Hyde Park this morning, police were everywhere. There were even Underwater search teams in a 5 foot-deep canal, for God's sake! Also in addition to the grand parade: doghandlers, tank blocks, armoured vehicles. Well, life goes on.
