The Shape of Water

I felt a warmth in the dry winter air and also smelled salt. We looked into each other’s eyes, and it was like water was slowly seeping in under our feet The more we looked, the more the air moved and the higher that water went. It was like we were on the beach on a perfect summery day and we somehow made it happen on a southern winter night. The room was dry and cool, but our chemistry definitely had something brewing to where it augmented the room.

We felt the water beautifully rise, and then we floated a bit and it went over our heads, filling the high ceiling of my living room. We easily smiled as we leaned into teach other, and we beautifully rolled with each other. We felt the same thing in the air.

But wait, there’s more. It was like our own version of Shape of Water happened. We had seen the movie (though separately) and absolutely loved it. We liked the genre, director, the premise, and likely the movie’s unlikely romance. It was like we got to adopt the movie.

The other beautiful side of being intimate is the shared songs, movies, and other artifacts. The creative kinds seem to be such an big one! It’s nice to be with someone who gets the same meaning out of a creative work, place, or type of experience. That’s a pretty cool way to bond, friendships usually start the same way.

The songs and creative things are like souvenirs, works that fed the soul and stoked the love between 2 people. Certain works evoke certain emotions, and it’s pretty fucking cool when 2 people can enjoy some things. It’s like its own form of love after a certain point.

(All of this is all so Sun in Leo, I now see, lol!! But, it seems to be living up to it being the time of heatwaves so… mind the heat and flames!)
