I wish I could say yes. I would had been glad to go with it.

But, you gave me such little reason.

You mistreated me and openly insulted me in a way that very few people had.

I would had usually been glad to say yes, but I cringed just thinking about it.

I wished I could had said yes, and whatever backlash happens, it happens.

I should feel good about this. Making unpopular and difficult decisions is my specialty, but it is never easy.

I said no, and now it is out of my hands.
