Grateful
I am so very grateful for getting to spend time with my brother and cousins. We've made our own tradition, we add our own meaning, and we like it.
It all started 3 years ago when a friend didn't want me to spend Thanksgiving without family and encouraged me to go this way. Then, more things helped moved it along.
Their past holiday memories are the same as mine and they didn't like them. But, now the point is for us to spend time and enjoy it all, and make it to whatever we want it to be (with the emphasis on the time).
I'm grateful for my brother and cousins. When I hoped for a rebirth of sorts, I didn't anticipate it looking like this and yet I am glad.
